According to Sirius: Vintage rock from the big hair '80sDriving Circumstances: Yeah, it's been a few days. We had a half day at work on Tuesday, and Wednesday was the Fourth of July, so between both of those days there was 1) quite a bit of partying and 2) quite a bit of time in the car. Never concurrently, of course.
My Experience: On Tuesday morning, I turned the channel to Hair Nation, and was immediately treated to a little White Lion. It immediately took me back to my youth and reminded me of my stepbrother, who was a big Guns 'N' Roses fan. Sure enough, a little GNR played later in the day. But what is it about hair bands and the color white? You've got White Lion, Whitesnake, Great White, etc. And I heard music from all of 'em. Just to keep things interesting, though, Hair Nation balanced out the driving rock songs with heartfelt power ballads...Mr. Big, anyone?

Bah...you'd be all over The Big 80's.
I love this station! I have it saved but I'm not allowed to listen to it when my boyfriend is in the car. He's too young to have fully enjoyed the glory days of the late 80s/early 90s. Rock on!
Au contraire. I was much more into hair bands than the new age one hit wonders stuff on Big 80s. Though you are correct, I'd probably flip between the two. :-)
